Insurance & Eligibility
Understanding your coverage — before your first appointment.
We currently accept AHCCCS (Arizona Medicaid) and are actively seeking credentialing. Here is what you need to know about eligibility, coverage, and how to get started.
AHCCCS Coverage
We accept AHCCCS — Arizona's Medicaid program.
AHCCCS (pronounced "access") is Arizona's Medicaid program, providing health coverage to low-income individuals and families who meet eligibility requirements.
Clarity Access Psychiatry is currently seeking AHCCCS credentialing. Once credentialing is complete, we will accept AHCCCS as a primary insurance for psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and ongoing telehealth care.
We will update this page as soon as we are fully credentialed and accepting AHCCCS patients. If you have questions in the meantime, please reach out — we are happy to help you understand your options.
We expect to complete AHCCCS credentialing soon. Contact us to be added to our waitlist.

AHCCCS eligibility basics.
AHCCCS eligibility is based on income, household size, age, and residency. The following groups are commonly eligible:
Adults ages 19–64
Low-income adults who meet income thresholds (generally up to 138% of the federal poverty level) may qualify under the ACA Medicaid expansion.
Children and teens
Children and teenagers in households meeting income requirements are often eligible, including through KidsCare (CHIP).
Pregnant individuals
Pregnant individuals may qualify for AHCCCS coverage regardless of immigration status, with expanded income limits.
Individuals with disabilities
People receiving SSI or who meet disability criteria may qualify for AHCCCS coverage with additional benefits.
Seniors 65+
Older adults who meet income and asset requirements may qualify for AHCCCS in addition to Medicare.
Arizona residents
You must be a resident of Arizona and a U.S. citizen or qualified immigrant to apply for most AHCCCS programs.
This is a general overview. Eligibility is determined by AHCCCS based on your individual circumstances. Visit healthearizonaplus.gov or call 1-855-HEA-PLUS to apply.
